Swerky, Ahmad (Egypt)

This is my very great friend from Egypt. In so little time we have become closer friends, almost like far away bothers we both never had. He has lived such a life. The things he was telling me about his life left me amazed. He has gone thrgouh so much even before he was born. This why I can relate to him so much. Our scenerios and circumstances are different, of course, but I feel we both felt about the same at times. He is going to take a trip to Italy with one of his good friends. They will be there for at least 2 weeks. i hope to visit both Egypt and Europe. :-) I am very proud to call him friend! now he started a Blog for us to see his writings. Here is the link:

This is a picture of my friend riding a camel passing by the famuos pyramids.

This a great view of the body of water that separates the city.

Here he is being adorable to that little dog. This is my favorite picture of him. One can truly see his kindness to creatures :-)

Another picture of the city. I like that structure.

Here he is again by the water having a great time, as he smiles to the camara.

Guillaume (near Paris, France)

This is Guillaume! He is one, in my circle of friends, that I have met. Now he is back home in France. His family has a mansion, as he calls it. It sems a pretty good size house, and nice from the pictures he has given me. How could I describe G, as I call him since I can't spell his name LOL He has grown so much from the time I had met him back a couple of years in Las Cruces. He was going to NMSU as an exchange student. In the beginning he was having a lot of trouble making new friends and adjusting to the US. He claimed people treated him different, or dind't seem to sympathize with him. That was just temporary. I felt better when he started to meet more people and having friends. Before I knew it, he was already traveling here and there. I recall trips he had taken to San Diego. He even called me from there telling me that he was moving there. Then another trip to New York, then Florida. His greatest American friend I would say has been Paulo. He has been there for him in a lot of things, and has offered his support to him. They still keep in touch. G invited him and other friends he had met to visit him at his home. Some already have. I want to go as well one of these days. :) G was struggling for a while to pass his exams. He wants to be a flight attendant. Finally he passed his exams, and now will start a job with an air company soon. This will give him the opportunity to travel to the US again sometime soon. We have plans to meet again. There is a story I would like to share about G, but because of our friendship, I can't publish it at this time.

This was taken in White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico near Alamogordo. Another wonder of NM. For a slim guy, G is very flaxible as we can see.

This pic was taken in réunion island. G went there on vacations to help out a relative.

This was also taken in réunion island.

This is a skewed pic of the mansion.
This was taken while he was in San Diego, CA. You could tell he was very happy :)

Isn't this house attractive. No wonder he doesn't mind inviting friends he has met. There is enough rooms there to host Pride in Paris LOL By the way, this mansion was located near outside Paris.

Fernie (EL Paso, TX)

This is fernie. He is someone I still have yet to meet in person. He lives in El paso, TX or last I heard. It's been a while since I've talked to him even on the phone. Before we would chat and once in a while talk on the phone. We tried meeting a few times while I was in El Paso, but his work schedule mainly was the reason.

Rudy (Albuquerque, NM)

Rudy is a friend I met through Nate. They used to be roomates in Las Cruces. I took that pic of him when we went for lunch long time ago. They were my first friends in Las Cruces: Nate mainly. We hang out at their place. Sometimes we would drink there or go out clubbing. Rudy now lives in Albuquerque again being roomies with Nate.
